I loved this Zara shirt when I saw it instantly. I waited about a week to purchase it, which thankfully I did because it went on sale! It is one of the best shirts to go from day to night. You can pair it with jeans, but then pair it with a black or colored skirt at night and bam! This was my lazy Friday office outfit and turned into a good dinner outfit after work. I wore this shirt with a black pair of jeans, and heeled booties from Aldo. This outfit doesn't need a lot of accessories because the shirt is bold enough with the pattern. I wore my favorite silver Aldo men's watch and some simple silver bracelets.

I LOVE this black lined fur coat. This was the greatest finds for me in a long time. I felt as though I was basically stealing when I paid $13 for this! Originally $69 from Winners (one of my favorite places to find deals) I loved it so much, I got one in brown! Its the perfect jacket for those in between cold and warm days.

This gold and grey leather purse was a random find a couple years back. I cannot remember where I got it... but its cute!

knee high school girl

 I love these over the knee socks! I find the look is very Asian inspired and school girl. I found these at Winners a while back, and haven't dug them out until last night. You can pair these with little jean shorts in the summer, or with flat ankle boots in the winter.

I added this new Aldo clutch to my outfit to add some color. Its the perfect size for anything you'd need at the bar, and was only $45!

2 things that annoy me this week...

no pants on the street

i realize that this is more of a celeb trend, but i just dont understand. yes if you are on stage working it, this look is cool. but on the street? its a different story. when youre a performer, you can wear a lot more than your average person. just because lady gaga wears no pants around nyc, does NOT mean you can wear no pants while shopping on queen street. atleast throw on a pair of little black leather shorts or something! anything is better than just a body suit in the day time.

ok now ladies, i realize that almost every girl owns a pair of these, but i just dont understand it. i know my friends are probably rolling their eyes, because this is something that has always bothered me. their not cute! they make your foot look 10x bigger than they are, and their not even waterproof! half the time, their soaked with salt stains and look gross. there are plenty of other boots that are so comfortable and still look cute. i just dont understand.

knit sweater/venting

hey loves. so today i need to vent. i am getting increasingly frustrated with some peoples choice of outfits.. now i realize that not everyone has the same style buuut i do not understand why people continue to wear summer outfits in the winter time?! yes the weather has been on and off, but ripped summer jean shorts with uggs are not cute when its snowing and you look like you're going to die of a slow freezing death...the uggs will not save you! its winter time, pull out those knitted comfy sweaters and jeans! if you are feeling extra lazy, pair them with tights.

this is one of my favourite winter go-to sweaters. i got this one night as i was running to my friends house, when it starts pouring. and i mean the clouds were mad angry this day. soo i ran into the winners close by and nabbed this sweater for $20. it is absolutely perfect for that cosy day on the couch and pull on those dark denim deans and you got yourself a cute dinner outfit!

this is one of my favorite shirts of all time. (too bad its not mine) my lovely friend Grace (leather vest) has the most killer style, and everything somehow manages to look so fresh and amazing on her. thankfully...were friends...so i get to raid her closet. that was the case Saturday night. this shirt is from H&M a couple seasons ago, but was uber cheap for only $40. i paired it with a tight leg black pant and huge black heels. oh and of course, gold bangles and rings.

if youre going to go with a baggy top, my advice is to wear a tight pant. if there is too much baggy going on, its not flattering. if the top is long, wear a big heel. it will make your legs look much longer and not so lost in the big shirt. also, dont have to much going on with the ears and necklace. if you're going to do big earrings...lay off on the necklace. less is definitely more sometimes. one more thing... if the shirt has a lot going on, go with simple jewellery. small earrings and no necklace. have one piece on that you want to be the focal, and dress around that!

graces wore a fantastic black leather vest from Top Shop, long black skirt also from Top Shop and bright Nars lipstick. the look was so effortless.

nadine wore the cutest white shirt. the detailing on the front makes the torso look long, and allows you not to wear a necklace. white looks amazing on girls with blond hair! (try not to spill drinks on a white shirt! EK!)
