What I Rocked: Pastels

Pastels! I bought these Guess jeans a long time ago when I lived and worked in London. I snagged them for a sick deal in and around $30. Thankfully pastels are popular again and people understand these pants. In pictures it definitely looks like I'm not wearing pants though...

This is an Old Navy oversize shirt that I just tied up at the bottom. Very easy and a great way to make oversize shirts look cute on girls. My watch is Nixon, bracelets are Aldo, Winners and H&M.

These are way to cute to not show! I have no idea where my friend got them from but I found them to be the cutest little things.

What I Rocked: Elephant Maxi Skirt

Time to talk about maxi skirts again. I love this skirt I got from Urban Planet which was so random as it was my first time in there, but for $10 I couldn't go wrong. I love the elephants all over it! I just wore a plain black tank and a yellow belt to add some pop of color. My arm party is from Helloberry and H&M!

Have a great weekend!! xoxo

What I Rocked: Blue Maxi Skirt

This weather makes me so happy - all I want to do is dance around outside and lay in the grass... But since I have a life and a job that can't happen...

This blue skirt brings some fun to my day though so I can live with that. I wore it with my Asos cut out body suit and wore a thin black and gold belt. I love the black and blue combo because a lot of people think it doesn't go together but for some reason it works for me.  My shoes are Zara which I adore, and can go with almost anything. (you'll find those are the pieces I go for) I have a feeling you will be seeing a lot more of this blue maxi...

I got this maxi at Star Fashion downtown Queen Street for $11! Lovely.

Yay for bright jewellery!! I have a ton of random bracelets - some from Asos, Forever 21, Aldo and of course my favorites from Helloberry :)

Festival Style

It's almost festival season! Unfortunately, I am not heading to Lollapolooza like I have always wanted too, but these looks are very easily done on an everyday basis. This look is really all about being 'effortless' .. making it look like you really don't care and this is what you picked out with seconds to spare. Take a look at some of the pictures below and check out your closet if you have anything that can turn into one of these looks. Which I am sure you do! Jean shorts? Baggy printed tank top? Bright silver jewellery? Sandles?

You can do it! Be creative and step out of your comfort zone if need be - it's always an amazing feeling! Try something new... I dare you.

What I Rocked: Blue and Orange

I absolutely love color, so finally the sun is up and I am getting away with all the dreary black and greys. I have these two pieces that i honestly don't wear a lot at all. The skirt, I've maybe worn twice and same goes for the shirt. I have no idea why I have never thought to put them together because I am loving it.

This H&M orange skirt I bought for $5 on clearance which at the time was very exciting until I realized that I am not an orange person. This is a Zara baggy button up that I picked up for $29 on sale a while back randomly and thought, again, it was the best thing ever. Until I tried styling it and just was never feeling that great in it. Until now! With this whole color blocking fad going on right now, I decided to follow suit. Blue and orange actually looks pretty great together!

I added some stockings to make it more casual for work and threw on my sparkly Aldo flats!

Since this top is baggy and quite long, I decided to leave the back a bit messy and give it more of an effortless look. I just tucked in the front and let the party in the back do the talking.
The shadows in this picture make my hair look really weird...
