Summer Lovin
What's better than a little summer dress? I'm sure a lot just came to your mind... But hey on a hot summer day - not a lot beats it.
This little thing is from Ardene! That's right! Surprised eh? Well I personally have never thought to shop there at all, but when I found this lovely skin tight number for 50% off, I decided it was worth the $8. I know it's not the most fashion forward thing ever, but it's perfect for those hot beach/lounge days!

Red-Love
With the summer in full force, so are the shorts. These beauties are from Urban Outfitters for a whopping $9! They are so comfortable and easy to wear with heels or flats. If you haven't dug in the sale section of UO - you are missing out!! Amazing deals.
I paired it with my sheer top from Star Fashion downtown ($11) and these flat sandals I picked up in Scotland a couple years back. :) Easy, effortless and comfortable

How To: Accesorise a bathing suit
It's about that time to start rocking a bathing suit! I am obsessed with buying suits! (I must have over 30 pairs, which is so ridiculous and excessive.)
Just because you're going to be wearing next to nothing while frolicking on the beach, doesn't mean you shouldn't wear any jewellery! Those who have their belly button pierced are one step ahead of the rest of us, but ladies update those rings! There are some wicked pieces pieces out there - match it with your bathing suit! For us who don't... here are some ideas of how to accessories...

What I Rocked: Black Maxi
Ok so I just got this amazing maxi from Winners the past weekend. I have been looking for a long plain black dress for a while now - I had no idea it would be such a mission. They are all too thin, too short or just fit strange. I had an Angelina moment with the slot up the front.... Forgive me.

Pasionae
I want them all. These beautiful rings are made by a New York project inspired by the arts
and philosophy that honors the concept of l’art pour l’art (art for
art’s sake). Such beautiful art!

What I Rocked: Sweater and shorts
Blue and black seems to be my favorite right now for some odd reason, and I know it's usually a color combo that most people frown upon. I got this sweater months ago in Montreal from Urban Outfitters for about $20. It's perfect for the hot but a little windy days. It's super 'holey' so I wore a pale bra from Aritzia underneath to keep the look of it.

My shorts are my newest love from H&M. The lace gives a girly feel but the black still makes it a very easy wear. You can throw these on with any top and look either a bit dressy or very plain and laid back. These are a steal from H&M for only $17! They also come in a pale pink for all your tanned people. (grr)

What I Rocked: Ripped Shorts
I had the most amazing weekend!! I was lucky enough to get to see the Red Hot Chili Peppers which I have been wanting to see for sooo long and never had a good chance. The concert was so amazing and of course, Anthony taking his shirt off didn't disappoint. Memories!
I wore Mink Pink ripped shorts ($80), NYC Boutique - The Double Pocket Sheer Blouse ($38), Steven Madden combat boots ($170), DKNY leather jacket ($200)
