When I saw this green side tie up dress on Asos - I had to have it! The high neck line and ties under the arm pit add a bit of edge to this pretty green color. It has to be one of the most comfortable dresses I own! I paired it with Zara heels.

Home Sweet Home

I finally had a chance to get back home to my parents house for a night and relax! Between everyone's busy schedule it's always hard to find time to gather and enjoy. Thankfully the weather held up and is absolutely beautiful! I love coming home and spending time in this beautiful back yard - such a great change from tall buildings, concrete and fuzzy air.

My Urban Outfitters sweater is probably not the best in this hot weather... And my Topshop leather shorts don't help either... But hey why not right? The sweater is holy after all...

Paps Blue

I was looking for a pair of dark green shorts that looked a bit dressy but chill at the same time. Finally I found these beauts at Urban Outfitters for $10! The frill at the bottom was a bit much for me so I stiched down the sides. I picked them up in a dark purple too! So cute.

Gwen Stefani has been one of my idols for as long as I can remember - her hair, fair skin, and signature red lips are so stunning and different! Gwen has a very successful clothing line (L.A.M.B) and one of the best rock groups -  No Doubt! Put these together = wonder woman! Below is some amazing parts to her recent interview with Bazaar!

On her style: “I’ve always been a girl who loves to dress up. I already put my makeup on twice today: I put it on to take my kid to school, and then I went home, washed my face, and put it on again to have lunch with you. I like to make my husband like me more and he likes it when I’m wearing makeup.”

On staying fit: “I hate talking about my body [all the time]; it’s ridiculous. There is no secret: You just have to eat healthy, work out, and torture yourself! I like to wear clothes too much, so I try to keep focused.”

On motherhood: “It’s superfun being a mom, but it’s hard too. Finding that balance between work and family is the hardest thing I’ve ever done—by far."

On fame and gossip: “That someone would say something untrue or bad about me doesn’t bother me. It’s like water off a duck’s back. None of that stuff matters. There’s something in me, being this passive person, that those kinds of things don’t upset me. I know they can say anything; they can just make something up. But what are you going to do? It’s not part of my reality, so it’s okay.”

VELD - day 1

What an amazing first day at Veld here in TO!! Heat, beer and amazing music! With 20 thousand+ people - the atmosphere was insane!  Unfortunately I don't have any 'fashion' pictures as this event was definitely a wear as little as possibly due to the heat! I stuck with a neon pink off the shoulder tshirt, high wasted short shorts, and a light peach bandeau! Oh and the worst flip flops I could as the ground was a pure mud pit.
